What battery does a Landwind use?
Most recent Landwind models use a European EN-size battery, EFB or AGM if the car has start-stop and maintenance-free calcium if it does not. Size varies by engine and year, so we check the label on the fitted battery before replacing it.
My electric Landwind is charged but will not switch on. Why?
The 12V battery is the usual cause. An electric or plug-in Landwind needs it to start the computers and connect the drive battery, so a flat one leaves the car dead. We power the 12V side, wake the car and test that battery on site.
Why did the battery on my new Landwind fail so soon?
Heat and short trips are the common reasons. Abu Dhabi summers age batteries quickly, and a Landwind with many always-on features needs regular longer drives to recharge. We test the battery and check for abnormal drain before recommending a replacement.
