EFB

Double-lid cover
The Extreme EFB is described with a double-lid design meant to keep acid inside if the battery is tilted or shaken, which also limits vapour loss.
About Duracell
The copper-top name reached car batteries in 2013, when the Austrian manufacturer Banner took the Duracell Automotive licence for Europe. The range was launched in the UAE the same year, and Banner extended the licence in 2022. The line-up runs from Starter and Advanced for ordinary cars to Extreme EFB and Extreme AGM for start-stop. Are Duracell car batteries made by the same company as the small batteries?
No. Duracell licenses its name for car batteries. In Europe the licence has been held by Banner of Austria since 2013, and other regions can have a different licensed maker. The battery label states where it was built.
Is Duracell Extreme EFB enough for my start-stop car?
Yes, if the car was built with an EFB battery and has no brake energy recovery. If the original is AGM, the car needs Extreme AGM instead. We check which one you have before we bring a battery.
Can a Duracell battery be fitted at my hotel on Yas Island?
