Is the Cadillac Escalade battery AGM?

On recent Escalades with start-stop, yes, the factory battery is AGM and should be replaced with AGM. Older Escalades without start-stop can use a quality calcium battery in the right group size. We read the label on the fitted battery and match its technology and size.

Where is the battery on a Cadillac CTS or ATS?

It is in the boot, under the floor panel or behind the side trim depending on the model year. Jump-start terminals are provided under the bonnet for boosting. We replace it from the boot and reconnect the vent tube so gases are carried outside the cabin.

Does a Cadillac Lyriq have a normal car battery?

Yes, alongside the large drive battery the Lyriq has a 12V battery that runs the locks, screens and control units. If it goes flat the car will not power up even with a full drive battery. We test it on site and replace it when needed.
